Archaeological Solutions Australia utilises the following Differential Global Position System (DGPS) equipment for field data capture: Trimble® TDC600 rugged handheld utilising Trimble® TerraFlex data collection software via Trimble® R1 Integrated Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Receiver with Trimble® ViewPoint RTX Service which achieves real-time 50cm accuracy. This state-of-the-art technology by Trimble provides fast, efficient, geospatial data collection workflows, delivers high accuracy positioning and streamlined data management. The field data automatically syncs with the TrimbleConnect® central server, streamlining office operations and improving productivity.

Archaeological Solutions Australia utilises Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS)®. This mapping software is a leading open source desktop GIS application. All maps produced by Archaeological Solutions Australia are in accordance with the relevant legislative requirements.
